# A practical website visibility playbook

Trion · Updated 9 October 2026

Build a useful path: answer a real question, offer a working tool or example, then explain the relevant service. Publishing more pages alone does not guarantee rankings or AI citations.

## Before publishing

1. Check every factual claim against its linked source. Keep reported results separate from illustrative calculations.
2. Give each page one clear purpose, a unique title and a useful description. Do not create near-identical pages for keyword variations.
3. Make important content available in HTML, not only an animation or image. Give charts readable labels, accessible data and source context.
4. Link each page from a relevant section and to a useful next step. Check downloads, contact routes, mobile layouts and keyboard access.
5. Use production canonical URLs and a sitemap containing public canonical pages. Keep internal search and private workspaces out of the sitemap.
6. Keep forms honest about what happens. A browser-only brief is not a submitted enquiry or a booked meeting.
7. Test actual hosting performance. Compress images, respect reduced-motion preferences and avoid loading unused code.

## A four-week improvement loop

| Week | Work | Evidence to collect |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 1 | Publish one complete guide, tool and relevant service path | Indexing status and whether visitors can finish the task |
| 2 | Cover the awkward exceptions with worked examples | Questions users still cannot answer |
| 3 | Verify an integration example or interactive demo | Supported versions, limits and recovery steps |
| 4 | Share a useful answer where it is welcome | Relevant conversations and qualified enquiries |

A manual integration starter is not a complete production workflow. State which connections, permissions and checks remain.

## Distribution

Answer a specific community question before linking to your tool or guide. Follow the community’s rules. Do not claim partnerships, customer results or capabilities you cannot substantiate.

Update existing content when sources or examples change. Expand coverage when a real question needs a distinct answer.

## Measurement

Use Google Search Console to inspect indexing, queries, impressions, clicks and click-through rate. Separate branded from non-branded queries and compare periods consistently. Avoid treating average position as a guaranteed result for every searcher.

Track meaningful outcomes separately: a completed tool calculation, a useful demo, an enquiry received, a review booked and a paid pilot. Browser-local activity is not account-wide analytics. A prepared email brief is not evidence that an enquiry was sent.

Use real measurements to decide what to improve. Label hypothetical models clearly; do not manufacture traffic, rankings or revenue charts.
